The team at Bridgefield possesses a 20+ year history of investing in distressed companies and generating superior risk adjusted investment returns. Bridgefield focuses on opportunities across the corporate capital structure and across the distressed cycle to find investments with attractive risk reward ratios. The goal is to provide equity-like returns with credit-like risk and volatility in an uncorrelated fashion.
Bridgefield was founded in 2015 by Richard Foster and Joseph Mathews who previously founded and led the distressed investment firm Ilex Capital Group.
